Target:
ensure the execution of the order with limited financial resources, an overheated transport market during a pandemic, the availability of a letter of credit from the customer and working with a new supplier who has not yet had experience with such orders from Europe.
What we did:
the team prepared a production plan, a financial plan, and a cargo delivery plan for finished batches. Coordinated all aspects with the client and supplier, independently resolved the logistics issue (in “difficult” conditions - during the period before the Chinese New Year and the strong impact of COVID19 on international logistics).
In a situation where one shipment was stuck in China, we managed to change the project plan, re-coordinate it and find additional funding so as not to miss the delivery schedule.
Result: completed project, built trusting relationships with the client and supplier until they agreed to the priority participation of our team in such projects.
